Then you can start reading Kindle books on your smartphone, tablet, or computer - /5(82). Movies based on books tend to only hold the core story and tend to stray after all the characters have been introduced and go their own way.

Star Wars Return of the Jedi is one of those books you read in one day. It's not a long lengthy book, but has enough to keep your attention and for me, read it again after a couple of years/5(84).

The Making of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi Mass Market Paperback – Aug by John Philip Peecher (Author)/5(8). Star Wars Return of the Jedi is a fun a read for the early 80’s - 90’s kid.

As a young child in the early 90’s I picked this book up several times, primarily to enjoy the images of the hero’s I admired, I constantly loved to envision myself in the fantasy as Luke Skywalker or Han Solo battling the dark forces of 4/5.

A quick intro tells us via text that this is Episode VI: Return of the Jedi and brings us up to speed with where we left off in the Star Wars saga. Luke Skywalker's gone back to his home planet, Tatooine, to try to rescue his old pal Han Solo from Jabba the Hutt.

Return of the Jedi is a science-fiction novel, written by James Kahn and published on by Del Rey. It is based on the script of the film of the same name.

According to Publishers Weekly, it was the bestselling novel of that : James Kahn. Emperor Palpatine, Darth Vader, and the Empire are building a new Death Star. Meanwhile, Han Solo has been imprisoned, and Luke Skywalker has sent R2-D2 and C-3PO to try and free him.

Princess Leia, disguised as a bounty hunter, and Chewbacca go along as well. The final battle takes place on the Forest Moon of Endor.

Return of the Jedi (also known as Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi) is a American epic space opera film directed by Richard Marquand.

The screenplay is by Lawrence Kasdan and George Lucas from a story by Lucas, who was also the executive by: John Williams. This new outlook allows us to greater appreciate what has often been viewed as the weakest of the original trilogy: "Return of the Jedi".

Often derided for its overly 'cute' factor, ROTJ is in a sense as strong as the original and only slightly less impressive than /10(K).
